Race Information

Service is one of the cornerstones of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® , Xi Theta Omega Chapter.

The purpose of this event is to support program initiatives that serve the citizens of Arlington, Texas, and the surrounding communities.  To ensure we meet corporate program targets that are designed to improve the lives of those we serve.

Race Overview
We are thrilled to announce the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Xi Theta Omega Chapter 4th Annual Arlington Community 5K Run/Walk. This is a 3.10-mile team or individual run/walk. We are looking for you to have some run-fun with us. Make it a big deal by grabbing your family, friends, run groups, walking partners, church groups, etc., and join us at Fish Creek Neighborhood Park in South Arlington and on Facebook on the day of the event. Create your teams and invite your fellow runners. We want you to post pictures and videos of your activities and share this email using the #XTO5K24.

07:00 AM - Check-In and On-Site Registration

08:00 AM - Start Time (Virtual run/walk anytime during the day until September 28, 2024, Midnight)

09:00 AM - Awards (or as soon as all are finished)

In-Person runners will receive a T-Shirt and a Finisher medal.

Virtual runners will receive a Finisher medal ONLY to be mailed.

**The medals for virtual runners are the only items that will be mailed. All other runners must pick up their items at packet pickup or on the morning of the race.

Notes for Packet Pick-Up
Photo IDs are required. You may pick up for a friend if you have a copy of their photo ID. NO EXCEPTIONS! Please plan on attending the pre-race packet pick-ups. 

***T-Shirts and Medals are not guaranteed to be available for late registration participants.

  • Enter your time and click submit – results might not post immediately
