Sparks will be flying on February 17, 2024, when Ancora Ministries holds its third annual Spark Love 5K, presented by Austin Subaru! All proceeds from this event will be invested in programs dedicated to FEEDING KIDS in Central Texas and Guatemala.

Ancora Ministries is on the ground in communities where no one else is working – both in Central Texas AND in Guatemala. We are doing life-changing work so that children can be everything they were created to be, through nutrition, clean water, education, and health initiatives, and through building strong relationships. Our biggest initiatives our nutrition and feeding program for kids:
- We currently have 575 children enrolled in our weekend food programs in Central Texas (Hays Hope2Go feeds children in the Hays CISD, Dripping With Hope feeds children in the Dripping Springs ISD, and Feed Kids Right Now feeds children in Austin and Buda schools.)
- We also have 610 children enrolled in nutrition and school lunch programs we are running in 16 communities in Guatemala.
- In 2023:
- We provided more than 250,000 meals to children and families in Central Texas and Guatemala.
- We served 33 schools and provided nearly 15,000 "backpack bags" through our weekend feeding programs in Central Texas.
- We brought clean water for the first time ever to more than 1200 people in 3 communities.
- We built a classroom and latrines for a rural school in Guatemala, and provided roofs and safe cookstoves to 20 families in the village of El Sauce, Guatemala.
