Sparks will be flying on February 15, 2025, when Ancora Ministries holds its fourth annual Spark Love 5K! All proceeds from this event will be invested in programs dedicated to FEEDING KIDS in Central Texas and Guatemala.

Ancora Ministries is on the ground in communities where no one else is working – both in Central Texas AND in Guatemala. We are doing life-changing work so that children can be everything they were created to be, through nutrition, clean water, education, and health initiatives, and through building strong relationships. Our biggest initiatives our nutrition and feeding program for kids:

We currently have nearly 900 children enrolled in our Feed Kids Right Now weekend food programs in Central Texas (Hays Hope2Go feeds children in the Hays CISD, Dripping With Hope feeds children in the Dripping Springs ISD, and we also serve schools in Austin, Buda, and Lockhart.)
We have 750+ children enrolled in nutrition and school lunch programs we are running in 20 communities in Guatemala.
In 2024:
- We provided more than 336,000 meals to children and families in Central Texas and Guatemala.
- We served 40 schools and provided more than 24,000 "backpack bags" through our weekend feeding programs in Central Texas.
- We brought clean water for the first time ever to more than 1400 people in 5 communities.
- We provided roofs and safe cookstoves to 30 families in 2 communities in Guatemala.
- We provided 215 pairs of athletic shoes to middle schoolers in Hays CISD.

DOG and STROLLER are add ons and mean you will have a bib assigned to your dog or your stroller in addition to your own, which means whoever is running with the dog or stroller must register also. A dog or a stroller must be accompanied by a human! This is for a bib only.

Bib Numbers 1-1013 and 2026 you are considered EARLY REGISTRATION -- that's the line you'll head to at Packet Pickup on Race Morning, or what you will tell the volunteers if you pick up Friday night

All other numbers are considered LATE REGISTRATION and that’s where you'll head to at Packet Pickup on Race Morning, or what you will tell the volunteers if you pick up Friday night

Early Registrants: Dog and Stroller Bibs will be in the packets of the Registered Owner. If the owner did not register, the dog/stroller bib will be held until registration is complete.

Parking is available in parking lot of Wallace Middle School.

Additional Info

Must register by Shirt Guarantee Deadline to guarantee receipt of shirt requested.

Shirt Guarantee Deadline is 14 days before race day.

Extra shirts are ordered conservatively so as not to expend funds on shirts that could go to the cause. If having a shirt is important to you, please register by Shirt Guarantee Deadline.

Races start and finish at Wallace Middle School, address listed at the top of this page.

We are Rain or Shine, Hot or Cold.

5K is chip timed.

1K will not begin until all 5K participants have returned to the finish line.

Medals are not awarded to 1K participants. All participants 10 and under receive a finisher token.

Online Early Registration will close 4 days before race day. Online Late registration stays open until race start time.

If you register after early registration closes, you are considered late registration and you can still sign up online! When you get to packet pickup or race morning, follow the signs for Late Registration.

Late Registration closes 15 minutes before race start time.

No refunds, but you may transfer your registration to another person.

Packets may be picked up by another person.

All Registration Changes must be handled on race morning with the timing company.

If offered, Packets to be shipped will be shipped following the close of the race.

All packets not retrieved by race start time will be considered donations.

We allow late starts up to 10 minutes after start time. If you are later than that and you choose to start, note that you may not have support, coverage, or directional markings, and you will not be timed - with love!
