Bandera High School and Bandera Middle School would like to invite your school to the Bandera Bulldog Nation Early Season Cross Country Invitational, which is to be held at Bandera City Park.

Location: Bandera City Park on South State Hwy 173 by the Medina River. Site of the 2006 and 2007 District 25-AAA Cross Country Meets, the 2008 District 29-AAA Cross Country Meet, the 2009 District 30-AAA Cross Country Meet, the 2011 District 26-AAA Cross Country Meet, and the 2013 District 27-AAA Cross Country Meet. Bandera City Park has also previously been the site of Class A district meets 4 times in recent years.
Packet Pick-Up: Beginning at 2:30 p.m. at the Bandera City Park
Entry Fees: $10.00 per runner, with a maximum $400.00 per school. Make checks payable to Bandera High School.
Meet Entries: Each school may have up to 10 runners in the girls 5K varsity division and each of the other varsity divisions, with an unlimited number of runners in all other divisions. SINCE THE MEET IS CHIP TIMED, ENTRIES OF ALL RUNNERS IN ALL RACES IN ALL DIVISIONS MUST BE MADE ONLINE THROUGH ATHLETEGUILD.COM. ALSO, BE SURE TO RETURN THE ACCOMPANYING OFFFICIAL ENTRY FORM BY NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2014.
Meet Results: All races will be chip timed with results will available online through athleteguild.com.
Running Schedule: 4:00 p.m. – 7th & 8th Grade Girls (2 chutes)
4:30 p.m. – 7th & 8th Grade Boys (2 chutes)
5:00 p.m. – J.V. Girls & Varsity Girls (2 chutes)
5:30 p.m. – J.V. Boys & Varsity Boys (2 chutes)
6:00 p.m. – Open Girls 5K Varsity Division (Depending on the number of entries)
6:40 p.m. – Awards Available
Meet Course: The 2014 Bandera Bulldog Nation Early Season Invitational Cross Country Meet will be very similar to the 2013 course, which provides more off road running than the course did prior to 2012. The course is mostly dirt and grass trails, with some paved road. The entire course is within the Bandera City Park. All Girl Varsity and Junior Varsity races, as well as all Junior High races = 3200 meters, except for the Girl Open 5K. Boys Varsity and Junior Varsity = 5K.
Dressing Facilities: None
Parking: The City of Bandera will provide parking outside Bandera City Park for school buses and vans, as well as all non-school vehicles.
Concession Stand: Drinks and Food will be available for purchase at a concession stand sponsored by the Bandera High School Athletic Booster Club and/or the Bandera Middle School Athletic Booster Cub.
