15th Annual Jon's Run

Description:

Jon’s Run provides a well-organized race for competitive participants as well as for those who want to stroll. This healing event is a source of comfort and hope to those who have experienced the loss of a child. Funds raised make Jon’s Run possible and support SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) research and prevention. 

Time:

7:15am - Registration and packet pickup
8:00am - Kids' Run (50 and 200 meter dash)  Ages 11 and under
8:15am - Opening Ceremony and Memorial balloon release
8:30am - 5K and 2 mile stroll

8:45-10:30 - Post race festivities 

Entry Fees:

Early Bird - December 1st Through April 22nd
$25 - Competitive 5K (Timed)
$20 - 2 Mile non-competitive stroll
$15 - Kids' Run *

April 23rd Through May 12th
$30 - Competitive 5K (Timed)
$25 - 2 Mile non-competitive stroll
$15 - Kids' Run *

May 13th RACE DAY (Cash or Checks preferred)
$35 - Competitive 5K (Timed)
$30 - 2 Mile non-competitive stroll
$20 - Kids' Run *

*  Kids 11 and under who register for the Kids' Run may also participate in the 5K or 2 mile stroll, but must register for the 5K if they want timed results.

Commemorative shirts can only be guaranteed to those who register by April 22nd

Dogs not allowed on track or football field, outside of fence only.

Thursday, May 11, 5-7pm, MacArthur Park Lutheran Church, 2903 Nacogdoches Rd.  

Race day pickup available beginning at 7:15am

Age Groups: 14-under, 15-19 (5 year) through 70-Over

LARGEST TEAM AND LARGEST FUNDRAISING TEAM-deadline midnight May 10
